I feel like any time I listen to a song about 30 times in a row, I should share it with someone. Iron & Wine, AKA Samuel Beam, is a wonderful musician and an even more wonderful poet. I can never get over his words. This song is so moving, so simple, and just plain beautiful. So listen and love:
Oh Sam. I love you so <3
I hadn’t heard this one before, but I really like the Trapeze Swinger – even at almost 10 minutes long.
I hadn’t heard that before – it’s beautiful.
AAAUGH. one of my all-time favorites…anytime i have the woman king album in the car, that one ends up on constant repeat.
for months, i’ve been trying to find something of his i dislike. and failing miserably.
<3 oh, sam beam.
So pretty!
What a beautiful song, I hadn’t heard this one. Iron and Wine is some of my favorite studying music; it just sort of floats around in the background being all serene and lovely while my brain is working in overtime
I love Becoming Jane. I thought I wouldn’t, because I’m not that big of an Anne Hathaway fan. But I ended up loving it: the music, the set, the cinematography.. everything! And this song is very subtly moving, just like the movie. Love it!
I LOVE this. I’ve kept this post in my reader for some time now so I can keep listening to the song but just realized I never left a comment to say thanks for the introduction!
