It’s Back! The Pin It Do It Challenge!

Earlier this year, I participated in Trish’s Pin It Do It Challenge. I worked on a lot of things and finished a few, but I could have done a lot better. Now the project is back (you can sign up at the link to Trish’s blog above). This month I have lots of plans to cook a lot of good food found on Pinterest, make a few crochet projects (I have a lot of yarn to use up!) and maybe a few other things. Here’s are some pins I’d like to get done this month:

I love the projects on Sweet Verbena. I really want to make this cinch bag to take my gym clothes in to the gym. Right now I’m using totes, but I love how big and simple this bag will be to make. Easy to wash. So many good things! Plus, I brought my sewing machine with me from my parents house, but I haven’t used it yet. I really need to get on that!

I love iced coffee, even in the dead of winter. I haven’t had a chance to try out this recipe, but it would save me a lot of money if I did.

Isn’t this a gorgeous, simple blanket? I’m going to the yarn store this week to get a gift for my mom for her birthday. I might pick up some yarn to start on this blanket before winter starts.

There are a couple other pins I might tackle this month. I hope you’ll join in!

    • Oh, I know, Jill. I drink it all winter. People think I’m crazy! I still like hot coffee, but I can drink iced coffee with a lot more foods. Like savory foods. Is that weird? I don’t like hot coffee if I’m eating savory things.

  1. MMMM… iced coffee!!! I had signed up to do Trish’s challenge and I was an epic fail. I pinned…. I think I even tried a couple things but forgot to document them… and never posted. GAH.

    Dare I try again?

  2. Also on my to-do list for this weekend is to actually DO SOMETHING for this challenge. I have a few ideas and links collected but I haven’t finished anything yet. :( Maybe I should pin some poems to read and kill two birds. Ha!

Glad you’re joining again. Wish we were closer so you could teach me some needle arts!
